法国著名摄影杂志Chasseur d'Images刚发表的D300完全评测。
最主要的内容是关于iso和宽容度的。
测试说明iso确实为100至6400。iso100时高光部分被压低1档以保证不过曝，这导致宽容度降低。
iso100时宽容度降低导致高光部分显得不够细腻，比D3的高光部分显得粗糙。
宽容度范围达到正负3档，在这个档次的DSLR里面算是正常。
D-Lighting非常准确地对暗部起作用，在14bit情况下会产生少量噪点。采用D-Lighting以及轻微欠曝的设置会使宽容度得到很不错的提高。
高iso表现方面，3200完全可用，1600下图像自然并且有很好的细节。总体来说，D300在这方面比40D和A700都好。
iso200的情况下D300比A700（firmware2.0）的表现稍好，非常接近D3、5D及1Ds markII。

Most important comments are about ISO/DR so here is the translation :
Tests showed that Iso are exact from 100 up to 6400 Iso. At 100 Iso DR is reduced by 1 IL in the whites so one could take it for surexposure.
We noticed that at Iso 100 DR is reduced and high white exposures are "rougher", generaly whites are rougher than with the D3
DR goes from -3 up to +3 so it's quite "normal" in this range of DSRL's.
D-Lighting is very accurate to manage shadows, low noise is procude using the 14-bits encoding. Using D-lighting and slightly underexposure DR is impoved nicely.
Other important comments :
Results are exceptionnal for this kind of sensors (DX) due to a very elobarated noise & raw treatment and this not only at 200 ISO but also at 1600 and 3200 iso.
Autofocus reacts very very fast and is very precise and never went faulty but you'll need to read your manual und use the good settings.
IQ :
Grain is very fine and natural at high Iso (3200) and absolutely useable and providing very natuaral en and fine detailled images at 1600 ISO. By all, the D300 does better than the EOS 40D and the Sony A700.
At 200 Iso the D300 is slightly better than the sony A700(firmware 2.0) and is very close to the D3 and the EOS 5D and 1Ds MKII
Exposure of the D300 is about + 0.0 IL and very difficult to mislead (D3 exposure is about 0.5 IL)
I hope i'll have mine within a fortnight. As a reader of this magazine since 1970 i can confirm that the tests are rarely exagerated. Now i'm waiting to see the Phil's DP review.
